Supermarkets Promoting Charity Donation

Some supermarkets are already encouraging this approach, given that all charities have been struggling lately in the challenging financial climate. Donation boxes are placed prominently at the entrance and notices are left throughout the store asking shoppers to purchase extra items and leave them in the boxes to the benefit of the charity.

Even so, in the past five years £20 million has been given back to charities by Cards for Good Causes.
